Overview
The OXI Split 2hp expands the OXI ONE's MIDI output for connection to multiple MIDI devices. Each MIDI output supports 16 channels, giving a total of up to 48 channels across three ports. Both the MIDI outputs and MIDI Thru use 3.5mm TRS Type A connectors.
The module mounts in 2HP of Eurorack case space and requires no connection to the case's power bus. A TRS cable for connection to the OXI ONE is included.
This is a separate product from the discontinued original OXI Split and the desktop OXI Split V2. While the OXI Split V2 provides six ports and 96 channels, the OXI Split 2hp is a rack-mounted model with three ports and 48 channels.
OXI Split V1, 2hp and V2 Compared
The OXI Split 2hp brings the original OXI Split V1's three-port, 48-channel MIDI expansion capacity into Eurorack. It has the same output-port count as V1, but a different connector layout. It is not a rack-mounted version of the six-port Split V2.

Put simply, the OXI Split 2hp has specifications close to a Eurorack version of the original OXI Split. Whereas OXI Split V2 provides six output ports, OXI Split 2hp provides three.
If you want to use a lot of MIDI equipment, the OXI Split 2hp may not have enough output ports for your setup, so please keep that in mind.
The use case for this module is fairly straightforward: using OXI ONE alongside Eurorack modules. The external OXI Split works perfectly well too, but fitting the connections into 2HP makes for a much tidier setup.
In setups like that, three ports will often be enough. Please consider whether OXI Split V2 or this module better suits your own setup.
